Eligibility

Age

21–35 years as on 12 Oct 2026(i) Upto a maximum of 5 (five) years for Arunachal Pradesh Schedule Tribe (APST) candidates. (ii) Upto a maximum of 15 (fifteen) years for APST PwBD candidates. Age concession in respect of regular State Government employee will be as per Government rules and regulations in force from time to time.

Experience

For Assistant Director (Prosecution): minimum 7 (seven) years of active practice as an advocate in criminal courts OR experience as a Magistrate of the First Class. For Assistant Public Prosecutor: minimum 7 (seven) years of experience in criminal law practice.

Selection process

Written examination consisting of General English and General Studies (Objective), Concerned Subject Paper-I (Descriptive), Concerned Subject Paper-II (Descriptive), and Viva-Voce. In case of large number of applicants, a Recruitment Test (Objective Type) will be conducted as a screening test.
