No : KMRL/HR/2025-26/07 , Dated (23.09.2025) Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) a 50:50 Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Kerala incorporated for the implementation of the Kochi Metro Rail project and for its projects. The construction activities of Phase II works of KMRL, from JLN Stadium Metro Station to Info Park covering approx. 11 km and having 11 stations has commenced and for the same and for the same KMRL intends to fill up the following post :- 1. Junior Engineer (S1)/ Assistant Section Engineer (S2) in Track Name of the Post Junior Engineer – Track (S1) OR Assistant Section Engineer – Track (S2) Total no. of Posts One Grade/ Pay scale S1Rs 33750-94400 (IDA) S2, Rs.35000-99700(IDA) Type of Recruitment On contract basis for a period of three years extendable for further period of two years based on the satisfactory performance and requirement Qualification B.Tech/B.E or Three Year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/Institute Experience For Junior Engineer - Minimum 3 Years of Post Qualification experience in installation of track, quality and inspection of track components and knowledge of curve geometry, installation of turnouts in Metro/ Railway/ Railway Associated Industry For Asst. Section Engineer- Minimum 5 Years of post-qualification experience in installation of track, quality and inspection of track components and knowledge of curve geometry, installation of turnouts in Metro/ Railway/ Railway Associated Industry Candidates with experience in installation of ballast less track (BLT) will be preferred. Maximum Age Limit 30 Years for Junior Engineer/ (as on 1st September 2025) 32 Years for Asst.
