No: KMRL/HR/2026-27/01 Date: 19 May 2026 Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a 50:50 Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Kerala incorporated for the implementation of the Kochi Metro Rail project and for its Operation & Maintenance. First Phase of Kochi Metro Project is now fully operational and now KMRL has been sanctioned with Phase II (JLN to Info Park) by Government of India covering approx. 11 km and having 11 stations. KMRL intends to appoint a General Manager (Operations & Maintenance) in E8 Grade on regular or on deputation basis, primarily for looking after the Operations & Maintenance functions of KMRL. Accordingly, applications are invited from experienced, dynamic, project oriented, result driven and motivated persons having required related experience for the posts. Educational B.E./ B.Tech in any Branch of Engineering from AICTE/ Qualification UGC recognized University/ Institute Experience Minimum 20 years post qualification experience in the area of Operations and/or Maintenance/Signalling/Rolling Stock (out of which minimum 15 years in executive/ managerial cadre) in subsidiaries or sister companies of the Indian Railways/Rail PSU’s, and/or Metro Rail Corporations. The candidate should have sufficient exposure and experience in the planning, procurement, contract management in Metro/Railway. The candidate applying on deputation, shall be a serving IRSSE/IRSEE/IRSME/IRTS/IRSE officer of Indian Railways, presently in the SAG pay scale Rs.1,44,200- 2,18,200/- (Level-14- CDA Pattern) or shall be in the pay scale of
