No: KMRL/HR/REEMPLOYMENT/2026-27/09 Date : 05 August 2026 Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a 50:50 Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Kerala incorporated for the implementation of the Kochi Metro Rail project and for its Operation & Maintenance. First Phase of Kochi Metro Project is fully operational and KMRL has been sanctioned with Phase II (JLN to Info Park) by Government of India covering approx. 11 km and having 11 stations. KMRL intends to appoint a Land Acquisition Officer on Re-employment basis, primarily for advising and assisting KMRL in Land acquisitioning activities, Post award actions after land acquisition, litigations pertaining to land acquisition, liaison with District Administration & other stakeholders in land acquisition and other general matters and other allied works of KMRL. Accordingly, applications are invited from experienced, dynamic and motivated persons for the post. Name of the post – On Land Acquisition Officer Re-employment Total No. of post ONE (on Re-employment) Type of employment On Re-employment basis: for an initial period of THREE Years – to be further extendable for additional terms/ periods,– or up to attaining the age of 65 years, subject to consistent good performance, conduct and discretion of Management Experience Candidates should be retired in a rank not below than Deputy Collector from Land Revenue Department, GoK, with minimum 15 Years of experience in Land Revenue related matters. Preference will be given to candidates 1.Who are having experience in heading Special Land Acquisition units for acquisition/ transfer/purchase/mutation of land for State and Central Public Sector Undertaking Companies for Projects. 2.
